All major areas of the UK media. Our aim is to let Radio & TV companies, production houses, and all media outlets know which artists are being most talked about. The significance of that information is up to the individual; our aim is merely to highlight areas that may be of interest and potentially useful to you. Artist recommendation is an independent group dedicated to recommending media figures and artists to the wider industry. We are neither agents nor personal managers.
Each week we monitor the web interest of all key media figures. We look at the most searched for (by all the major search engines) the most talked about (via chat rooms and site forums) and, crucially, the most hits to both their own and connected web sites. Taking all those factors - and applying the most rudimentary maths – we calculate which artists are the most talked about and who is creating the biggest buzz. We will often contact broadcasters or producers etc. to let them know if anything we find is relevant to them. This site is designed to be short, sweet and helpful!
Initially this site was to be used solely for UK Radio presenters. We have now expanded interest into television. We have also divided our recommended artists between the UK and the rest of the world (which many find helpful). Each month we recommend seven people from each category.
